ReplyDeleteThanks. Fair comments. You’ll see less of me as so much else to write. However, sadly no budgets for too many contributors. There is an element of mystery shopping and every single bar which is reviewed is visited and drinks ordered. I personally visit over 90% of bars reviewed for that particular issue. I agree re monochrome – many of those images are mine and I’d like to see in colour. However, Dan is a great designer and he thinks they look better in black and white. I am not about to tell him how to design. CLASS is about as uncommercial as I can make it without going bust. In 13 years it has never turned a profit.
